Hebrew-Speaking Psychologist
For some patients, being able to speak in Hebrew can make therapy feel more natural, direct, and emotionally precise.
Language carries more than information. It carries tone, memory, family history, cultural nuance, humor, shame, longing, and emotional meaning. For Hebrew-speaking patients, being able to move between Hebrew and English can sometimes make therapy feel more honest and accessible.
I offer therapy for Hebrew-speaking adults, young adults, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, family conflict, parenting stress, identity questions, and major life transitions.
Therapy may take place in English, Hebrew, or a natural movement between the two, depending on what feels most useful. For some patients, certain feelings, memories, or family dynamics can be expressed more directly in Hebrew, while other parts of life may feel more connected to English.
My approach integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based work, and evidence-based methods when helpful. The work is grounded in careful listening, emotional depth, cultural sensitivity, and respect for the complexity of each person’s life.
I offer in-person therapy in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central, as well as virtual sessions for patients located in New York.
