Therapy for Young Adults in NYC
Young adulthood can be a time of possibility, but also confusion, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and pressure.
Some young adults appear successful on the outside while feeling lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of who they are becoming. Others struggle with college, work, relationships, family expectations, or the transition into independence.
I work with young adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, family conflict, relationship difficulties, college stress, professional uncertainty, and the process of becoming more fully themselves.
Therapy offers a place to slow down, understand what is happening internally, and begin to develop a more stable relationship with oneself. My work often focuses not only on symptom relief, but also on the deeper emotional patterns, family dynamics, fears, and self-beliefs that shape a young adult’s life.
My approach integrates psychodynamic psychotherapy, mindfulness-based work, and evidence-based methods when helpful. Depending on the person, therapy may focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, family patterns, identity, or practical steps toward greater independence.
I offer in-person therapy in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central, as well as virtual sessions for patients located in New York.
